Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre is set in the midst of the protected zone of Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve. Our three El Tigre houses are wedged between lush rainforest and South Puntarenas’s largest river, the Rio Tigre. The rich forestation surrounding our homes hide a number of waterfalls, swimming holes, tributaries and trails that traverse the land many of which lead to old mining routes. From all of our Dos Brazos homes you hear the sound of rushing waters of the Rio Tigre, abundant wildlife and exotic birds.

Casa Emilio is a tropical hideaway that is perfect for couples, a family or group of friends up to 8 persons with the Casa los Suenos guest house. The property is situated right in front of the Rio Tigre in the forest reserve of the Corcovado National Park. A very peaceful setting at the edge of the village, no street lights and the sounds of the rainforest all around.

A very wild place indeed Casa Emilio and los Suenos provide the perfect combination of a private vacation rental and resort style hospitality!

Many of the impressive photos of the animals on this website were taken by Alan Henderson, mini-beast expert and photographer, in the backyard of Casa los Suenos and the surrounding rainforest. We had the pleasure to host him and his family in 2011. They were here filming the documentary Monster Bug Wars for the Discovery Channel.
